Sharpe to miss Illinois game
Sharpe was injured in the first half of Nebraska's game against Purdue on Saturday. He was diagnosed with a sprained MCL and is expected to miss the next two to four weeks.
Sharpe is Nebraska's leading rusher this season, with 417 yards and four touchdowns. He is also second on the team in receptions, with 14.
Sharpe's absence will be a big loss for Nebraska, who are 3-2 this season. The Huskers are scheduled to play Illinois on Saturday.
