Sub-Heading 1
Julian Assange's extradition to the US has been delayed as he waits to find out if he can appeal.
Sub-Heading 2
The Australian-born Assange, 52, is wanted in the US on 18 charges, nearly all under the Espionage Act.
The UK High Court ruled that the US must give assurances that the WikiLeaks founder will not face the death penalty or be held in solitary confinement.
US President Joe Biden has said he is considering a request from Assange's legal team to drop the charges.
Assange's extradition hearing is now set for May 20, 2024.
